cornish college of the arts, univ of washington, art institute, and seattle central community college are the only places I know of up there with design programs. if you really want to be in seattle, check out cornish, otherwise stay where you are.

my advice...stay away from Cornish unless they've changed ALOT since 2000. I went there and found that it was a. over-priced and b. had more than a handful of lame instructors (at least in the design dept.).
UW has a respected design program.

ai there is part of the Art Institutes chain of schools...and isn't one of their bigger ones either.
