This is a layout that I will be showing a client today. It's a site for some condiminiums for all of the marketing. It will have plans, elevations, and interactive animtions.
The first image is how the interactive stills would be. There will be little red cameras on the plan that aim at the view rendered, rollover it and it highlights the corresponding button (on the right) and shows a thumb. Click, and you get the second image, which is an enlarged version of the thumbnail (bottom image).
That all make any sense? All the other info will be in the 'framed' part.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm not sure about the grey textured bg and the borders - I cant decide if they look more like a silent movie title cards or something you may find in a funeral parlour, either way - a little too depressing to potential house buyers - cant you make it more aspirational? Something brighter?

Thanks.
Sure. To be honest, I thought it was all light blue until I looked at my CRT (I did this on a laptop).
The alternative thought was that it makes a good contrast to the drawings. But I do need to try a more uplifting color...

I'm also noting an uneasy mix of typography - you have a serif font (times?) for the top nav and a san serif (helv?) for the list, I dont like that, doesn't make sense, and I dont like everything being in caps, makes it quite difficult to read.. I think if you stick with serif caps on the top, at least give some spacxe above and below - its a little cramped.

there are two many borders... on some pieces of content, there are a total of 10 borders between it and the edge of the screen!

thats bordering on ridiculous!
sorry, couldn't resist

Yup, I'll have to work on that. It's an unfortunate tendency I have....
Thanks

border line, feel like I'm going to lose my mind!

the pictures/ content ask for a brighter, lighter lay-out
I like the idea of the navigation/map

I think the content will fall into place nicely, it's just the frame work of the site I need to work on. I haven't had much time to think about it (I've been working on the animations and plans).
Glad to get the feed back, I think perhaps I went a little over board (-er ha!) on this one, maybe a little too heavy with the frame.
