We have a php form on our site. If the hidden email recipient is an address of someone within our company, the submitted form goes through. If it is an address of someone outside our company (where it actually needs to go), the form says it went but never reaches that address.
Is this a hosting issue? Something set up wrong with our mail server privelages? Do I want to deal with this mind numbing crap at the moment?
I am awaiting a response from our hosting company but thought I would hit up the PVAN in the meantime. Thanks.

I would also get the IT nerds to check your firewall aswell..been in a similar circumstance where the issue wasn't the form, but the firewall not allowing mails to go through.

i just changed the "allowed" domains in the php script to our domain.com and the clients.
hope this works. thanks.

I just wanted to comment on the shitty title of this thread. Its introverted relevance borders on pretentiousness.
