I just spend two days fishing in the archipelago and I'm bitten allover. Sucks big time! The sneaky bastard don't even make any noise no more. There is no escaping them. All you can do is scratch on the bitemarks afterwards so that you brake the skin and the rash hurts more that the bites. :(

get your self some citrinella oil or candles or insensce sticks. usally does the trick. failing that a bag of green and and air gun.

the easiest way is to eat a small clove of garlic before you go to bed. as it's broken down by your body the slight odor of garlic will seep out your pores. no more bites as the little bastards can't stand the smell.

yep - garlic in every meal saved my arse when I was in thailand.
