I agree about that services menu, otherwise the site looks pretty clean. One question, are the photos supposed to be crooked? All but one seems crooked, maybe its the wave making it look that way, but nonetheless it bothered me. Back to the services menu, have you tried a lighter green almost white backdrop for that area downthere? Ehhh keep up the good work mang.

I would try to keep the subnav away from the bottom. Possbily closer to the top-menu

i would say it is very small and then verry big, i think you have strange senses of scale. funny that they would have too be green also, is a fir not a tree. and also a shame you had to work with that logotype, its not a good one, the f and i it sits very bad. the wavy thing is quite a funny one too, i cant see the link if unless it is a sexy line style, i cant see it. good luck with your website dude

This is nice but i don't understand why you used curves..... firhill logo did not demand any curves...... hmmm
i don't know your clients specAny way this is nice and clean

I feel sorry for you... it's dull as sitch water content.
- wendell0
would you be thinking about having moving images in the curvy wavey box thing, i only think it makes all the pictures look like they are being sweeping away in a wave or somethings perhaps you mean the wavy style to be the firhill.

thanks all - esp wendell and james - you guys are great - no, really.
logo is gonna change to something much simpler.
The waves are there because hong kong is an island - and was/is still a large port city.

looks like a great motif for a langscaping company. May want to use a theme than communicates technology. If you couldn't read what would you think the site represented?

I think the curve needs work... maybe a bit less movement...
or just work on the natural acceleration of the curve from one direction to the other (seems to curve too much too early on right side then flatten out)
(buit then, I'm a car designer)
- jevad0
hmmm....yeah they don;t want it to be too communications/tech though....
- bostonflash0
ahh, more stealth branding so the customers don't find out what they do until it's too late.
- jevad0
yeah - that sort of thing...
heh
well it'll be pretty obvious from the body copy what they do...

do the photographs have any relevance?
nice green colour scheme but all in all i find it a bit dull, sorry.
i imagine your hands are somewhat tied coz you work is usually top notch.
- jevad0
ta very much mr morton!
uh...they're not too tied...I jsut don;t have much of a budget for this one and to be honest kinda threw this one together....but I'm getting quite fond of it now...needs some tweaks and the colors have changed too - guess I'll hit you guys up with a revision later...
The photos are all hong kong landmarks btw

no budget?
just fudge it!;)

Hi Jevad - top nav is nice and clean, photography lifts it well... I like the colour scheme and don't mind the curves.
Bottom right nav is typographically clumsy and too far away from the main nav.
Also too much copy in the main area to be very readable online.
