looking for some cheap airline tix in the US... orbitz? anything else?
also looking for some ideas of a good weekend getaway with the chic.. I an im NYC, need out of this town... San Fran? Miami? any other ideas? planning this for the second week of sept.

getaway, depends what you like. Montreal, or Quebec can be cool. Or quiet time in Montana or the western states, ranch style. Cape Cod is great in September, after peak season... ummm....

http://travelocity.com is usually pretty cheap if you use the non specific dates option.
you can usually choose the same exact dates you would want anyway.

I suggest...
call up some chinatown travel agent... they can get you real deal... Last year I tried online for air ticket to NYC from SFO..all cost more then $500... and I get $330 from chinatown agent. Try that !
