i would say, yes..at one time mars was capable of supporting life, and probably did at some small level..
then whammo...they lost their atmosphere and the whole place looks like a big chunk of terracotta now...
as for the notion that we could have come from their?i suppose anything's possible..
but it's pretty improbable..
we have plenty of ol bones on earth that show we evolved right here..not much chance cro-magnon man came here on a space ship...

I saw that show on the disc. channel on humans. I can't imagine what it must have been like when there was more than one species of humans living on earth.

a few years back there was a heated discussion about a microbe that was found there.
that it was frozen in ice suggested that at one time there was water and that there were at least some rudimentary forms of life.
too lazy to look it up, but it was in one of my old science books in middle school. interesting stuff.
and i think what you meant to say was "The point is moo." like a cow's opinion... it just doesnt matter.

actually we all can this month. mars is supposedly the closest its been in 60,000 years. mars will be 34 million miles away. it'll be the second brightest object in the sky next to the moon and visible with the naked eye for the month of august.
