though my initial reply was a little silly, this is a good resource for wood textures. You'll have to do some work to make them tile seamlessly, though...

all you guys talk about moving back and how it is played out. Next thing you know you guys will all start coming out the closet about how you like 2 advanced and start ripping them off even more!
No doubt you guys all rock tight shirts with thick framed glasses and messy hair. You guys are so trendsetting it's amazing. With al the cool shit you guys bring to the table and variety of works, it's no wonder this guy has to resort to some played out crap.
I bet there are more portfolios out there with wood background then real client work. So who gives a rats ass if it is played out. If it looks good it looks good.
Like the mesh hat is so original. Not only is that shit played out now, but I remember how chump style that hat was around 15 years ago. 10 years ago. You would get laughed at if you were caught wearing one of those hats. I still laugh.

i personally never used a wood image in anything i have evr done, i just wanted to check it out and see some good examples or samples or usage and such
i tell you what though... i will use wood patterns forever if it makes me money! Call me trendy, played out or whatever, cash speaks to me!
