trying to complete my redesign and portfolio section on my site and was wondering your opinions on the work section.
do you think you print sample should be digitally created or photographed on your website? This of course would only reguard brochures, stationary, packaging, etc...
what are your thoughts?
also, what are some really good usage of portfolio sections? not the actual work, but the presentation of it.
thanks in advance

digital.
no doubt. my portfolio sucks and is ridiculously outdated, but if you want to check it out for ideas, its at www.pulselab.com.
good luck.

go digital

I disagree, I'd photograph anything you have printed and possibly back it up with a flat digital layout. Photos show that something is 'real' and are more compelling to look at.

any other opnions on this?
i agree with you rasko, photographs, do give it a more "life-like" and real feeling. It also shows that these pieces were really printed (actual samples) rather than someone trying to pass it off as it was.
the ups to digital is more flexibility with layout and cleaner colors.
anyone else?

I say PHOTO. Agency people want to see the product in it's final state.
