How important is it to have my address on a business card? I want to know whether or not I want to have cards made at this moment. The sooner the better, but I don't want to leave off important info...
I currently do not have a permanent address as I am about to move out of my current apartment, then move to a temp address, and from there find a more permanent place.
For the telephone number, can I give a cell-number as that is not changing anytime soon?
Phone, email, web. Is that enough contact information?

cards with just mobile numbers look as suspicious as address that start with 'Suite'.
Get as much as you can on there but if you cant then dont sweat it - just dont get so many printed up - or design them so you can overprint the address on the blanks when you know it.

and besides, I dont think that it really affects the quality of your roaches whether the address is on there or not - and teenage girls will be impressed all the same, especially with a name like 'finger'

yo adam, there is no need to state that the phone number on the card is your cell phone number. just list it as phone: and give the #.
with all the minutes carriers are giving out these days i haven't had a home phone in 2 years. i just list my cell as my #.
as far as an address can you get a p.o. box for the time being, or, give you present address and have everything forwarded by the post office to your new address once moved?

Cute, Engage.
I thought that having cards without an address would look a bit suspicious as well. Oh well, I may just wait a few months until I get settled.
Thanks.

if you are doing freelance, you dont need an address.

adamfinger... how long have you been working on this business card now.... seems like months!?!?
- unknown0
sorry... but a mobile number is completely amateur.
- unknown0
its one of those BIG business cards - you know, with 2 sides and everything
- mrdobolina0
if you are doing freelance, I dont think a cell # is amateur.

much better to have a land line number that then routes to your mobile...

I agree with Engagestudio
- mrdobolina0
I dont understand that, many people dont even have land lines anymore.
- mrdobolina0
.. if you're are doing freelance.
If you are running a studio, then of course you should have a land line.

Well if I was a company that had just got you to sign an NDA, I wouldn't want to be talking about the job with you on your mobile while you're on the platform waiting for your train...

thats kind of an odd circumstance, but point taken.
