Consider:
a. all colleagues are working on PC-notebooks
b. lots of graphic design by meDoes a powerbook fit in?
(concerning networking, docs-exchange, etc. compatibility?)
Don't prefer a PC-notebook, but dont want to have PC/MAC co-operation issues.thnx in advance!

I have the only mac in my graphic design/multimedia department (an iBook).
All you need is OSX 10.2, and preferrably a copy of Dave networking software. Dave allows your mac to emulate as a full PC client on PC-based networks.
Even if you don't have Dave, OSX 10.2 has built-in PC-networking support.
All you have to do is type Apple + K and it'll bring up the networking connect window. Apple's Rendevouz should automatically find your office's network through an ethernet connection.
You'll probably need network admin assistance if you're not a tech geek like me, but it's a pretty simple process.
