i have to say i'm pretty disappointed in this months FWA SOTM pick (http://www.evb.com/). its not an ugly site and its very vibrant but its boring. i don't see anything that stands out for this site to be chosen for a fwa award, let alone a sotm. i really think desert combat by fi or 2a's new site or sixstation.
well, im ranting and im entitled to my own opinion. but i still want to hear yours.

hey, im not saying its the end of the world b/c FI, 2A or Sixstation didnt get recognized...lord knows they get enough of it (well not so much sixstation). i just believe that if credit is due, it should be due.

The point is never how quickly you can duplicate something, the point is how good the first one is.
Personally, that was one of my favorite sites I've seen in a long time. 2As was a HUGE disappointment, and I've been a fan for a long time.
So to each his own, but I was one that would have voted for that site. It's clean, the colors are nice, and it's free of crap. It works.

bullshit you could have done that in an hour.
compared to alot of agency sites on the web - that one is pure class - straight up and no bullshit - it's well designed and doesn't get flash-wanky...

What's with the grammatical error on the Adobe Campaign if you read the flash movie...at the end it says " The Incredibly easy to create PDF from Adobe Acrobat"

and if 2a was a big disappointment to you, i wont argue. i can see your point. but you can tell when time was put into a site and when shit was just thrown together. in this case, the shat hast been throweth togethereth.

ps - i will be responsible for the FWA august sotm. i just opened a new template in photoshop and plan on having this site completed by midnight. it is now 10:58 pm EST.

i have no problem with that site. it's very well done. i dont give a shit if it was done in 30 seconds. thats the dumbest critique of a site i have ever heard.
