Is this current trend going to become the norm?
We are expected to meet a raised money goal this year while at the same time slashing our prices for specific tasks.
Sounds like a no win to me.
Anyone else experiencing the "FasterCheaper" element these days? I know it is always a part of the biz but seems like the infection is spreading and fast.

Sometimes Quality take time. If thay do not understand that fuck them.
You do not ask someone to build you a plane fast do you.
NO because you now when you fly the fucker it is going to full out of the sky.

It looks as if you get real hyped when you respond because you have mad errors in your shit.
I think you are exaggerating a bit. the work we do is nothing close to being like building a plane. Bad analogy.
Your clients will always have that mentality. That is why you have to explain to them what it takes and the intellectual property behind it all.
If it was about saying "fuck them" none of you would have jobs.
It depends on the firm you work with or if you work alone. With all the comp out there, it gets pretty hard to get clients when they know they have the resources to get you to lower your price and give a faster turn around time.
It sucks but that is biz.

I just get pissed off sometimes.
As a designer we do have to now a lot about design and tech and programing. And we get really badly paid for a lot of hard work.
I got a friend hue is a plumer, he spent two years in college and started his Business and now after 3 year he is on 50-60000 a year.
I spent four years in college and four years as a Pro, doing graphic design and i get 25000- 2800 a year. ho dear. and that is in fucking LONDON for god sake.
But that is are fault as designers, to many of us want to do this job. and clients now it. And because of it thay take the piss out of us.
