ahh werd, i just asked him in the other thread if he knew my roomie who used to work at iis. i think ive talked to him a few times before though. who was all there at this drunk fest? (besides hot girlies)

... basically... all the big/small players in our local community were there...
... but I'm finding that they are old print folks for the most part... i met alot of old print people --- not much in the way of new media.
the hot girlies were mostly there just to goto the merc... not for the AIGA.
The two cuties I knew who were there for the AIGA don't seem to be doing much design/programming wise.

i was trying to ask him about my roomate in the "creative offices" thread. im pretty sure ive talked to him before, either through email or aim cause i know ive talked to the owner of binary creative site before. i need to get myself aiga membership finally and start meeting these local playaz. im re-launching my redesigned site soon as a full service shop here in town so networking (getting old folks drunk) will have to be part of the game now. (eh) lol
we should have a bbq or something with all the creative folks and their friends. my new place would perfect + jacuzzi for da ladies. :)

... yeah... I see another dude from iic in that thread you were talking about (pixelfrog)... but no shawny... i rarely see him around these parts anymore.
... he's working for esser on the side from what I hear from some of the AIGA leading folks.
Shawn's the man - miss and love that guy... was supposed to have sushi with him yesterday (oops.. sorry shawny!!)...
.. martin... you're the man btw. Your site has always been an inspiration to me... I show it to all the locals I know... trying to get people to realize that there IS talent in phoenix. :)

thanx kev, im so damn tired of my site that i dont see it as attractive anymore. i do see more and more cool stuff here in the state though. some good student stuff too. just wait til you see the new reflux site. nothing like the current site, totally organic feel with real life patterns and all that ish ive been scanning and playing with lately. i think the bbq thing would be awesome, i could invite my design friends and some ad people i know, they could all invite their funky ass friends, etc. etc. it could be really big, im gonna start planning! :)
