bbedit and homesite i guess

BBEdit
- sparker0
notepad, emacs, vi, kate, etc
why rely on software? know how to write markup and code first, then choose an editor.
a good web designer or developer should be just as comfortable writing markup, scripts or code in a text editor as they are in dreamweaver.
software shouldn't be a crutch...it should be an extension.

BBedit hands down for handcoding

What about Hotdog?!

of course sparker..
but why miss the comfort of syntaxhighlighting?
i hope theres no misundertstanding..
i did not mean WYSIWYG!!

homesite and interdev are good, never tried bbedit.
interdev allows you to check in or check out a file much like a library to prevent someone else on your dev team from overwriting your work.
homesite also has it's own similar functionality.

i like ultraedit a lot. the 'multiple' column editing is a damn nice function.
