Is there a way to stop IE having the scrollbars when it's in full screen mode? On a 1024x768 screen it displays the vert bar when the page content is only 800x600.
There are a few sizes to try here starting with 800x600...

you have to account for the browser when you make your movie...just cuz the resolution is 1024 x 768 doesnt mean that much room is usable...
im on safari btw and they all scroll...some horizontal and vertical

When it's on fullscreen it should be pretty close to 1024x768 usable. It's got scrollbars when the content is only 800x600 though. Why?

I wouldn't mention fullscreen here to loudly.

It's for a (html/flash based) presentation to run off a laptop, don't worry, not intending to mess with your personal browser windows.

do you have to use html?...can u just make it an exe and fullscreen it?

Could do but we're linking to QTVRs and it would be neater to do it html so you don't have to come out of IE and go into a totally different program.

in the body tag, try scrolling="no"

Thanks Vena, just tried that but it's not working in Safari, haven't got a PC to test it on. If anyone fancies testing it, it's here on the main page and the 1024x768 page: http://www.zen12165.zen.co.uk/fi…
Thanks,

hmm, nope, not working ie pc. try scroll="no" instead. if that doesn't work, you're better off with opening the window yourself i guess.
- vena0
just tested scroll="no" locally and it works in ie6/xp

Thanks, it's still not working on Safari but if it works on the clients PC then everything is cool. Ta for the advice.
