i totally respect how he supported US Troops and all the charity work that he did, but he seems really over-rated as a comedian. maybe it's that comedy from another era isn't as funny today...maybe it's just me.

My wife called me & left a message that the pope died (that's what I heard). I called and told my friend the pope died, he said "Yeah I heard"
fuckin LA for ya. I used to live two blocks from his place in Toluca Lake. I last saw him on his balcony all bundled up in a wheel chair sitting in the sun, like that super villian who's cold all the time - from a James Bond movie? it was 90 degrees.

not a crazy bob hope fan, but i heard one of his close friends asked him where he would like to be buried, and he said"surprise me". a classic.
