But yeah they should offer a choice at least- lus I have a feeling that the keyboard in the new 17 inchers will be the accompanied style keyboard for the new G5. That keyboard is smooooth. But who knows about the mouse thing.
In my opinion- although I live by Apple, the hockey puck mouse had to be the worst technology invention in history so far, next to the toliet seat laptop... cant win them all I guess.

I feel alot different about all that- I understand your feelings and it seems to be the otherall popular one in the community- but I like the simple keyboard and its angle (with the back latch up)- its quick and fast for me and key commands are a total breeze. Plus I think I am the only one in the world who prefers a one button mouse- I am a key command head and also a lefty mostly but keep the mouse on the right and key on the left- it makes sense to me. I have a two button mouse and of couse use them on PC's but I dont like relying on the right click- it just feels off and bloated. Everyone yells at me when I am on my PC and I am using key commands instead of the mouse yet it works for me and its alot quicker in my case.

I bashed that transparent mouse and replaced it with a Wacom, bought a Bonzai tree to lift that Cinema display and covered that keypad with a nice soft cushion..

i threw away the Apple evil accessories..
the mouse sucked, so did the keyboard after a while.

i usually ram mine under my monitor and use the monitor base to prop it up a bit higher.

the angle of their keyboard...the old grey beasts used to have a nice angle and now these clear pieces of shit lay pretty much flat...thanks for the carpel tunnel Apple!

nice one 2cent..
but I really am serious about this, Apple sucks big time at ergonomics..

an operating system that actually makes sense...that would be nice.

They'd better start making those 2-buttoned mice..
or soft touch keypads..
or lifting Cinema Displays..or it's going to be me on that 'physical/motor'-pic..
what's your need?
