just tested mozilla 1.4 cuz everyone is freakin' how great it is.
to my great sorrow i had to see that the PV-AN didn't really work.
clicking on a thread shows no results exactly where you read this now, but the responses were shown.
mo 1.3 seems to work fine. what happened to tabbed browsing?? wasn't that supposed to b in mozilla? did i miss that?

tomkat: there's an option somewhere that causes middle clicks to open in tabs by default. this is available in both mozilla and firebird. i highly recommend firebird on windows, camino on a mac, and galeon on linux.

Heck yeah, stick with ie. Its still the standard, and if you want the nice tabbing and extra features in those other adolescent browsers, check out this....

it's nice, just opt not to install the extra plugins and you'll be rockin hardc0re. tab'd popup killah, better searchin, etc.

I had trouble with Mozilla 1.4 so I switched back to 1.3 but have been using Firebird and am deeply in love.
There are lots of extensions you can install and there are a couple for tabbed browing that work great. I highly recommend.

Incidentally, NT should basically always work with the newest version of Mozilla and its derivatives. This is because I use Linux for my desktop, so Mozilla and derivatives are basically all I have.
I upgrade to the newest Mozilla version available starting with betas whenever there's a new release, and I can't work on this site if I can't see it, so if you're using the newest Mozilla and this site is breaking, then it's probably a problem with your setup.
If you are having problems, and really don't think that it's possible the problem is on your end, please post screenshots somewhere and email me directly with links and a description of what happens, and I'll see what I can do.

IE sucks balls.
Firebird rocks, can't wait for the mozilla application suite (next version)..to open links in a new tab, ctrl+click the link ;)

i found this little handy expansion on mozilla.org for tab preferences.
thing calls itself "Tabbrowser Extensions"
very clever.
btw:
i love nt.
