does anyone in here like the band TOOL? I think they have to be one of the best bands today.

I like Maynard and Tool has it's moments, but they're not a fav. I'd go so far as to say I like and respect them.

versa- the guy who does the videos for tool is adam jones (tool guitarist).
He use to also work on special effects for movies such as T2 and Jurassic Park. Interesting stuff, eh?I saw them last year here in Australia, was and will remain the most incredible experience for a long time.

I agree, at this point I am tired of listening to them, only because they were all I listened to for 2 years, they have everything you look for in a band, and manard has the best voice in world.
I also have to say a perfect circle is just as good if not better.

I wouldn't agree with the 'just as good if not better' part about APC... TOOL is much better than APC

well its a personal prefrence, I love the mellodic music that APC makes more then tool.
Both bands are full of great musicians, But I am just played of out tool right now.
Plus I am excited about the new APC album in september.

That I can agree with, its a personal preference... I guess any music can get outplayed, and I've been listening to TOOL for years, but I just started to ralize how fucking good they really are. They produce a wuality of music that has not been reached by many other bands. They have the music, lyrics, emotion, enthusiasm, and everything else needed to create great music. And I also agree that APC does too, both are considered great by me.

I think the huge part to both their music being that good is for manard, he is really what brings the uniqueness to the music, I mean the music is good, but not that hard, but to get a singer that can sing like that is hard to come by.

well, I mean they have alot of mathematical, intelectual things they put into their music, and artwork.
