does anyone know why flash sometimes moves .jpgs or .gifs over a pixel causing some straight lines to appear a little jagged. I've tried to work around this but I can't find a solution. To see an example take a look at http://www.invicid.com/sched2.ht…
Click on Amerikan Clothing02 and notice the minor squiggles. Thanks for any help.

try using the original vector illustration, quicker loading too...

set your bitmap's movie clip _alpha to 99%.

do a search on this in the PV-AN
this is a common bug.

jpolk is right. 1st instance of your _mc the alpha is 0. the 2nd instance of your _mc alpha is 99%. create motion tween. bitmap image should fade perfect now.

Put a border of 1 pixel all the way around your image, if you need this border to be transparent, make the image a png or a gif. When you import the image into flash, make it a symbol and set it's position at 0.1 on the x and y axis. Now you can put the image where you like and fade it, move it whatever. No more strange bitmap problems.
