ok, i ahve been working on a logo for a marketing company for a couple of weeks now. They finally approved one that we were all happy with and then BAM! they are having second thoughts...they want the icon or part of the logo to show "next level" or evolution...
I need inspiration or thoughts...
the name of the company is:
Next Level Marketing Partnersthis is the one they selected.
they like it, but want to trash the "NLMP" on the side and come up with an icon.... HELP PLEASE... I AHVE NO IDEAS LEFT!

put the word "level" in superscript. yeah and if youre going to have that NLMP thing, i think the type needs to be tightened up to unify with the other design elements

may be a cliche, but you could always play off the DNA double helix some how.

think about literal ways to communicate the idea and then abstract from there. steps are the first thing that comes to mind. ladders, stacked blocks, objects scaling up, etc.

the "NLMP" letters are out...just the wording is gonna stay right now.
thanks for the ideas... a ladder is a cool one. they recommended blocks or steps going up, but it has been done over and over...
any others?

scratch the left side portion, put a very thin line, between "Next Level" and "marketing partners"
drop the marketing text down a bit and put another seperating line below it. the lines represent different levels. keep "Next Level" near the top. maybe throw in some other lines, have a bunch at the bottom then as they go up, spread them out.

A dial that goes up to 11.
It's one better than 10.

ha ha, nice Bluejam!

thanks guys...good stuff...
they want this element to be able to be separated form the text and possibly use as its own element as well... so the lines between the text is cool, but wouldn't work as an element...
"elevator"..interesting

I would defintely agree with stairs. using stairs going up left of the N would bring the piece a complete feeling.
I also liked the idea somone had to make the "level" superscript. It acts as a play on words because it is raised up a level!

check your email SLAZ, better explanation then what would be typed here.
