I'd say the city itself is what you make of it... a solid community of familyand friends far outweighs having a ski slope next door or a chic address.

san fransisco, not too hot, not to cold, open minded and multicultural

you will find much of the same of what sexypixel is talking about in most major U.S. cities.

I was thinking about Boston.... good/bad!?
- pr20
still stand by my previous statement. Boston is full of lame (or vary lame people), the last time i saw so much lameness in oneplace was whene i watched WB News (New Yorkedition though...) then again my view of thatc ity might be slanted because i stayed mosty aroud Northeaster University where EVERY girl and EVERY guy look the same.
Go NY, even thoug you have complete dumbasses anchoring the news you can still find cool people.
- pr20
no, Boston sucks.
I have a friend who's going throug major breakdown right now as he moved to school there. It's boring and full of rednecks who just came to a big city.
go NY.

boston is a great city - lived there for 3 years...no rednecks...it is full of students though...nice smallish city - great access to new england and vermont...you could do worse!
- davetufts0
hells yeah, i agree with jevad - boston is almost all students and people in their 20's. culturally, cambridge is like san fran without the smell.
- loudubs0
literally, the san fran smell of homeless urine waterfall springs

Boston is a great city. You can really get your arms around it. Temperate climate, so you have to be prepared, but the seasons areworth it.
Close to all of beautiful New England, the ocean, NY. A great city

stay away from cape cod. Hyannis my anus.
- F_EddyShears0
woah, sexypixel why you down on the Cape? and hyannis, thats not exactly quintissential cape...
- sexypixel0
true, marthas vineyard and nantucket are very nice. But i had the missfortune of being stuck in Hyannis for 3 months. The idea of fun there is driving up and down mainstreet eating ice cream and getting busted by the summer cops for farting

you should probably respect all countries and capatalize the letters of it's abbreviation, especially if you ar going to ask for advice from Yanks themselves. There are about 40 nice cities you could move into, depends on what you are into, that question is somewhat vague, no offense. ;)

sexypixel, I grew up on the Cape. the Cape in the summer is a terrible busy place. Hyannis in the summer is REALLY busy. But aside from those two and a half busy months, the off-season is beautiful, and I have rarely seen such gorgeous beaches in all my life... I love my home.
How did you end up in Hyannis?
