damn....yesterday i was driving home from work in LA and i slipped gears and accidentally slowed down in front of this guy, and he pulled out and was all slamming on his breaks in front of me. he was all telling me to get off the freeway cause he wanted to kick my a$$. i tried to shake him, but he wouldnt lose me. i pulled off the freeway to the side of the rode, and i rolled down my window. he pulled up along side me and was yelling at me. he told me just to drive to my house, and he said, "i am gonna follow you there, and kill you". he actually said he was gonna kill you, he then informed me that he was a marine combat instructor and that he trained people to kill for a living. i eventually explained to him that it was foolish and he went on his way.
this however has got me a bit freaked out...i am a big guy and can hold my own. but the idea that there is someone out there that i cant even protect myself from, now that freaks me out. i could hardly sleep last night. the feeling of being a big guy who is completely helpless is not nice.i just had to vent, cause i been thinkin bout it nonstop.
thx.

la roads are crazy.
someone doing something as simple as slowing slightly down to change the radio station or pick up their cell phone will cause a floating bottleneck and can slow down traffic for miles.
if a lane is blocked for 1 minute it will slow down traffic for 5 minutes.
(i watch too many weird documentaryish shows)

i had a guy wanting to kill me and my family for calling him a jerk.
he actually called the place where i was working, and set up a phone call so someone would talk poorly about him.
he bad mouthed himself, until i said, "yeah, that guy can be a jerk sometimes."and then he started yelling, and 5 minutes later was at my work.
i was up against a wall. and he yelled at me for about a half hour.about a year later, he was off cocaine, and apologized. the scary thing was that he said he had planned everything out to kill me and my family.
he said something held him back from going through with it.it's scary that there are so many unneccesary violent people out there.

I almost got hit by a car that flipped and was coming across all the lanes on the 405 N. one night, I avoid the freeways as much as possible people don't pay attention while they are driving. 90% of the people are on the phone. Get off the phone your not that important!
end rant.

it was extremely frightening. i didn't sleep for awhile.
the guy told me if i go to the cops, then he'll get his friends after me. or he'll get me when he gets out of jail.
everything is ok between us now.
you reap what you sow. and this guy is definitely reaping it all.
he's in jail now. for threatening to kill a stipper that he got pregnant.
and he lost his business. ran out of money from court fees, for punching a kid's tooth out. and numerous, NUMEROUS other things.seriously, the best thing i learned was to overcome 'evil' with good. just went about my business, and when he'd try to start something, i'd stay calm, and talk to him.
strangely, from that all happening, i learned so much about life.
i feel for you and your crazy incident on the freeway.

i had a wierd incident on the way home from a long trip.
i was in missouri, and driving through the city on the interstate at about midnight.
there was a car behind me, and a truck a little ways in front of me.
and i was talking on the phone (trying to stay awake, i know i shouldn't be on it, but i had to stay awake).
anyways, i always have great service in that city.
but as a start to go down this hill, i lose service. i held my phone up in the air in front of me, to see if i could get a signal.at the same time, the car behind me is at the top of the hill, and it's lights are shining above my car.
and i see in the distance behind my phone as i'm holding it up, a tire coming down (i'm guessing it fell off of the truck in front of me), about to land on my car, i put on the brakes, and swerve to the left, so it will hit the passenger side.
it bounces in front of me and shoots over my car and the one behind me.
i looked at my phone, and the service turned back on right after that.
it my phone wouldn't have lost service right then, and if that car wouldn't have been behind me on that hill to shine it's lights on the tire, i would have been dead.
scary to think about.
