Hi!
technical question for you.Iam making a video with stroboscopic effects in it. And when i exported it from my PC to VHS some stobs effects have not followed ... Whats the FPS of a TV ? if there is such a thing ..
Or maybe my problem is how i have exported it. I've use Nvidia Nview .... choose the option two monitor, my pc and my tv and then i've push play on a fullscreen quicktime and push record on my VHS .....
Help please.

30fps for you guys on the other side of the atlantic ocean (NTSC) and 25fps for us europeans (PAL).
Anyone know what that french standard is called? Cant remember...

NTSC (USA standard) - 29.97 FPS
PAL (Euro standard) - 25 FPS

Ah there it is: SECAM Sequential Couleur Avec Memoire or Sequential Colour with Memory (or System Even Crappier than the American Method).
Same framerate as pal but with 625 lines/frame.

strobing has also to do with the shutter speed. at 30/1 you get blur whene you move you hand quickly in front of the camera, while at, say 250/1 you will see "full" hand in each frame.
