java virtual machine

    THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS! How do i get the java virtual machine so i can use flashMX's helpfile search engine? It prompts me to install the java virtual machine... i click OK, it send me to microsoft who say: We're sorry. The page you are viewing requires that you have a more recent version of the Microsoft Virtual Machine on your system. To obtain an updated version of the Microsoft Virtual Machine, please go to Windows Update. So i go fine, for the 50th time, and i go to windows update and i update shit all over the shop and I stil don't have the search engine in my flashMX help file... and i still get prompted to go through this insanity again... help me please!

    Microsoft hates java and so they don't want you to use it.

    go to java.com and download it then install it.

      BAH! i did it, the page told me i got it... and still my flashMX help doesn't work... thanks for trying anyway :(
