Hey everyone, looking for some adivice on the layout. This is a very rouph layout. But the one my clients like the best (i don't understand them sometimes)
I still have a lot of detail work to do (nameplates etc..) on it, but I'm sure you all will notice that.
Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time. Peace

looks good.
top left corner looks a little cluttered compared to the top right. i'd move something over there... maybe the slogan or something. also, the navigation is a little hard to read (or notice).

couple things:
maybe the photos are FPOs but the prospective students guy is just plain scary, maybe someone who looks like a naive high school student?
i think you can have a more interesting nav, make them more button-like not JUST text..
the logo thing, the tagline: hit the ground running.. there's an uncomfortable space issue, after running.. perhaps a colon? i think that should take a more central part of the design, the logo itself work the type and the tagline, i don't feel the small illustration of the people does much at its size and placement at this point.

The navigation is the last thing I see on the page, seems like it should be first in the heirarchy (after the title). Also, no need to have it twice unless the page is long.
the whole, ruled colored box, in a colored box, on a colored field is adding to the visual noise overall. perhaps simplifying the sections as much as possible.
Also, try working from the top down, since western readers read in that fashion. ie. most important on top, then 2nd most important, etc... This will help structure a lot I think.
pretty good for a more corporate framed site, luck...

Thanks a lot everyone. I'll work on improving the nav, cleaning up the color pallett and the nameplate.
Some things i had very little control over, they want a secon set of links, they want those illustrations super small (that kinda pissed me off cause those took time to make...grr..).
Those images on the site now are place holders - and real ones are being shot while this is under development. I'll make changes tonight and repost it. Thanks again.
