Listen to these songs specifically the bottom 2. Let me know what you think. I hear a lot of potential in him and Im just curious what others think
by the way everything he does is on cheap keyboards,guitars etc.. on his home computer.

i actually like the first song better than the last two. but everything sounds good. i generally like "synth-pop" sounding music, so this isnt much of a stretch. his voice seems a little off key in the second song at some points, making it sound a little dissonant. if you like this check out Self's album Gizmodgery or and Cornelius album (if you haven't heard them already).

Thanks for responding, Im not fully a fan of this type of music hes just a friend who i heard potential in and was hoping to give him a boost in confidence.

I wasnt saying you couldnt. I was being very vague, sorry. I was trying to say that keep in mind that all his instruments are subpar when listening because i think with some focus and better instruments, production etc.. he could produce some good melodic songs. Not making excuses for him. I think the potential i hear lies in his melody ( i think thats the right term) Like I said above Im not a big fan of this style but i heard something i thought could grow

The art of music is silence: there are too many elements that it becomes very hard to focus. Try to balance this out a bit better. I like the first track best.
