i got one of them presstube shirts, it's dope.
i contend it's never appropriate to use a pixel font on a t-shirt. it looks terrible.

I think I'm saying this for the 100th time, but some of the submissions on there are just revolting.
"Hi, I just got Photoshop or Illustrator and I'm a T-SHIRT DESIGNER!!!!!!"
I think threadless themselves need to pre-screen what is there to be viewed and voted on.
And some of the comment posts about some of the awful ones are even more preposterous, people writing about the concept and how great it is...3/4 of the submissions I wouldn't use to clean the kitchen with.

Hey haters!
If you are soooo good, why dont you "design" some shirts?

Im sure you guys have photoshop or flash too..
show them what's up, and get better design on there...I think the Idea is great, anybody can submit a shirt, nobody is a T shirt designer, is about to put your art on a shirt, if it gets the votes, they will print it, what is wrong with that?

yeah - we have 1 design we are running for sure - it is awesome. You won't see these available until spring 2004 though
Also, just wanted to mention. This is not a contest per say - just an offer to submit some artwork if people want. If we get nothing we like, we will use none of it.

you know its funny i didnt design the shirt but i like it
i think threadless would be very interested in something thats cheap simple and catches the eye

I been in the design game, as long as you, and maybe more, I have no problem with criticism, is the people that bitch and dont do anything about it to change it,

What is that? they are giving the freedom to anybody to send submissions, no rules whats better than that?? you dont like what is up there? you think you can do better? what is stopping you?

there are numerous people churning out shitty design on numerous applications (one being T-shirts) it's the saturation of our industry, but if people want to pay for em, more power to threadless, free enterprise!
