Safari is good, but doesnt support all Java functions apparently)Anyone else having these problems?

i have to say safari, isn't as good as mozillia for the mac.. but nobody seems to talk to much about this excllent browser to much.
safai is just getting there when it comes to flash, javascript is still behind and safari seems to have slowed down a touch, from it's last release (others have noticed in the office)
i don't know use what ever you feel comfortable with

stick with safari. but your right, javascript is messy.

All of the java functionality seems to be working, just as it did in IE, on Safari's final version 1.0 (v85).
There now is no page I have to go open in another browser.
My favorite alternative browser is Navigator as called Camino, also called Chimera....

I mainly use IE, but am also finding it crashing a lot of late.
I've started using Mozilla a bit and like it and I like safari as well, except for how css doesn't seem to work on forms...

with mozilla, is there a way to make the mailto: links pop up in another mail program instead of the mail program that comes with the browser?

I like Safari a lot. I find myself excusing it's occasional lack of compatibility just because it's such a comfortable and great looking browser. Whenever something doesn't work i open up a window in IE.

mine crashes too. i was going to post about it but since most of the newstoday users are total assholes i decided not too. i'm glad someone stepped up. i thought i was the only one. i use safari for that reason alone. half the sites i look at don't work on safari but it beats explorer crashing every single time. what i used to do was have the address i wanted copyied and i would paste it right when i clicked the icon for it to load and when the internet explorer started to control v it and hit enter. it usally worked. then it wouldn't crash. but safari has a better interface too, just a lot of sites don't work...
