4cY reporting live from the 38th International Film Festival in Karlovy Vary, Chechnia.
Seen some interesting movies the last couple of days:
-Ford Transit:
Dutch documentary about the daily joys and mostly sufferings of a Palestinian busdriver (they all got Ford Transits, old Israeli police-busses, given to them by the Israeli government.)-Remake
Very, very dramatic but still painstakingly realistic film about a man getting deeper into the terrible recent balkan conflict in Sarajevo, met the actor/director afterwards, both Yugoslavian and very aware of all the horrific events that made this war a very filthy war.. Platoon is like a Disney flick compared to what you witnessed in this movie.then tonight:
-Bug
American comedy about the bizarre chainreaction that is named chaos theory. A feelgood movie we really needed after all the drama.Right now in the internetarea of a big theaterbuilding hosting a party with live drum'n'bass band and plenty of vodka and other things that define the Eastern European pleasures of life.. :)
anyway, not much on NT, just enjoying the good life. :)
Any of you enjoying a holiday right now and still enough a geek to log in on NT?

it must be the combination of vodka and a chechian keyboard layout.

It's funny, I imagined you were reporting live from the daytona 500, yelling into the mic over the squeeling tires and roar of the crowd.
I guess it could be like that.
