hey im lookin for someone that can see that beauty of

basically im looking for better ways to visualize data, i like what plumb design did
any ideas or talent flash kids that think they can do it, shoot me a line

I see the beauty. I too am really interested in visual studies like these. Running off a Javascript based program this one is. Flash would be hard to do this (or rather lengthy, not hard), but possible. Perhaps other ways of visualizing large amounts of info into Flash. I am working on a Perl/Javascript experiment of a similar nature now.

ahhh, i thought it was flash. dang. ok well anyways, the kind of work we do at lextant is user experience, usability etc, typically we come back from study with a ton of information, we then sort it all out by creating an affinity, or tree of data in form of a mass post it note wall of info. from there it usually gets coded into excel and from there i'd like to take it to the web.
i'd like to have the ability to attach images and video to a data point, creating an experience of visualizing the data would be awesome, we've done basic tree navs of data and those are fine for simple concepts, i'd like really immerse the client into their product or concept and how it played out in the field...
its purely a bonus for the most part, but if a system could be constructed to get something like the plumb design look up and live, i think clients would dig the adventure in walking thru the raw data collection

could be done, depends on how the info gets sorted. If it still requires someone to sort the data and make the model, it is unlike the plumb experiment that claims to sort the information based on java.
Possible. would need an example of content and way it needs to be sorted, then I could tell what software was neeed, and if Flash was possible (which it very well may be).
