i have a client who requires VCDs to be burned frequently for their display units...
they have a dvd player hooked up to projection screens and i'm the sad bastard who has to make the content...that's fine...
but i'm not satisfied with the process...i'm using TPMGin to convert avi to mpg and then burning mpg to the VCD using VCDeasy...
i'm working with a lot of vector stuff and logos and find that the conversion from .avi to .mpg really f*cks up the quality.
anyone have any advice please?
thanks

u should use multi-pass encoders and set the bit rate quite high. Depending on the lenght of your presentation you can squize about 1 h of video on 1 DVD. I know that you are using VCD (which are much smaller)... then again why not go for DVD?
