I just bought a shit load of new pc stuff so convincing my nearest and dearest that i want to spend a bit more on a mac might see me homeless
so the few I've seen on Ebay look good to me but as I have no clue about good or bad macs I was hoping you guys would share the knowledge and help me stay in my home and have a mac :)

well if its for home and you dont want to upset the lady get a 400mhz DV iMac... they're girl friendly. You should be able to pick one up for 300-350 and no monitor needed.

Do it properly or it won't be worth doing at all.
Save up and buy one of the G4 towers that are now plumetting in price thanks to the G5's arrival.
