everything looks aligned - but it is very boring too.

works good but needs a bit more color. maybe load in a graphic on the first page. its very bare.
When i clicked on your work nav i got the pop out but i clicked on something else and the pop out stayed there. Would be good if it went away when i didnt need it.

Nothing going on there, the site doesnt make me want to see the work.

you don't need a sign that says 'navigation', to show people where the navigation is.
i also have an issue with the usability of the nav. if I move my mouse over the 'About' box (over the box, but NOT over the word About), the box changes color, yet, if i click on the box (but not the word) nothing happens. By changing color, you're telling the user - I'm a button, I do something - but it really act more like a text link (you force the user to click on the actual word).
add some pretty pictures - maybe of cats - i lost interest very quickly.
