hello all:
I am still on a search for some architechture prints/posters. From a link someone posted:
http://www.moma.org/gilman/main.…
The Superstudio stuff is amazing - exactly what I am looking to hang on my wall - the only problem is I searched and searched and I can't find squat.
Anyone know of a place to find something like this?
When I look under architecture prints its all generic garbage.
thanks.

ok, this is about a year later..
The Superstudio exhibition is now in my hometown, in this museum: http://www.vleeshal.nl/
it's AMAZING!!
entrance is free so i am going to visit it once more this week, as it is stuffed with very unique documents, drawing, sketches, posters, video, models etc.etc.
They also sell a catalogue, but i have not asked for a poster, perhaps they do have them for sale.
If you want me to find out and possibly get one for you email me. (see profile).
If ever this exhibition is coming to a museum near you (it is touring the world), you MUST see this. It's an order.

Janne, I would love references to specific biographies, catalogs regarding Superstudio.
I've discovered their work 2 years ago, and always felt very close to the ideas shared by this italian group.

superstudio's Quaderna tables is my first design love.. still saving money for it :-)

unfit, i will ask for as much possible. i am thinking of devoting an extensive blog-entry to this subject.
there i will see if i can add as many references to literature etc.
nb.
in the same exhibition there's a cabinet with all magazines and books (mostly from that period) about or featuring specials of Superstudio. daaamn, i wish you could still buy these, alas.I will take note of the titles, year, issue no. etc.

dank je wel, janne.

I would be interested in getting poster, not just of Superstudio's work, but almost any from the Howard Gillman collection featured on the MoMA site--but unfortunately, I don't see any posters for sale.

yo unfit..
just returned from "De Vleeshal" and they were very very very helpful.
i was quite amazed to what lengths they wanted to go to provide me with Superstudio related information.
They will compile a list with as much literature referring to Superstudio or about Superstudio.
Unfortunatly this is not a travelling exhibition (i assumed that, but alas..), and all the models, documents, sketches, etc.etc. will return back to the owner (on of the members of Superstudio)..it's his 'private collection' now.
i also asked about posters etc. and they will see if they can include info on this as well ( they are not sure themselves if they are still for sale etc.)..
also there was a mini-symposium with people related to the exhibition and a rep from Superstudio, and they will publish a small book(let) on this real soon..
then they even offered to give me address details of both the original curator and the owner of the material, a member of Superstudio as well.
As soon as i have this i will publish some information on this in my blog, but i have to keep address details etc. confident (they didn't even ask me but i think that'd be better..).
However, i will forward you ALL the info i get.

there is a book however, that was released with the exhibitions in the past and sold there, but they told me it'd be cheaper for you if you ordered it straight from the internet, here it is:

thx u so much. you're a superstar!
I checked that book at amazon, did u saw, read it?
I'll send u my personal email/adress.
dak je wel.
- DutchBoy0
yeah, i have quickly taken a look at it, they are sold just about anywhere here now, but i have to be careful spending money now. But it won't sell out anytime soon.. so i have no worries about missing it..
anyway, it's a small book (paperback) but quite comprehensive, so definatly worth buying.

I had borrowed that book from the library when I was a student, it's pretty good but I was my computer crashed and I lost all my scans. It's in my book wishlist, though.
They had a show in Design museum in London about a year ago or more which was great but I was skint at the time so I didn't lok for posters or merchandise.
Can I have some of that info dutchboy?
Btw, there will be a talk about Superstudio and Archigram soon in Leeds that I will attend, let me know if there are things you want to find out an exchange of information if you like.
- DutchBoy0
excellent, T-B-O-A.
