I've been out of school for several years now and rarely use any meaningful math and I don't like how incompetant I've become in this respect.
I've done some looking around already of course, but if anybody has got any good links or bright ideas as to clear some of the cobwebs from the ol' noodle I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

I've just been going through these math tutorials from Ahab at were-here:

They focus on things you can use in Flash; covers some calculus, trig, 3d... it's fun! in a way.

what field of math are you looking for?

Thanks for the link, I'll check that out.
I'm not looking for anything too complex, but I'd like to run the whole late-high school gamut again. You know, some trig, some geometry, algebra, fractions, and the basics just to get warmed up again.

I might need them too, I might go back to school for degree at CMU. Hmm, I need to brush up on my Calculus.

Here's pretty exhaustive math site -
http://mathworld.wolfram.com/I once had a site in my bookmarks that was math concepts illustrated with interactive shockwave animations. I'd like to find that one again - -

i cheated in college algebra.
i was too fucked up to be able to do math. drugs n alcohol n math = not good mix.

in the original post, you spelled 'incompetent' wrong. but you may have done that on purpose to prove your point.
i'd start with just buying a high school math book, and reading it.

Yes, to illustrate my point, that's exactly what I was doing.
I thought about getting an old grade 12 math text as well. I never took math 12, but hey, it's never too late!

I have a 9 year old. I am having to relearn fractions. Nugglers link is way over what we are on, but I am going to keep it for later.
