Norton or McAfee ??

Wich is the best ?
I know both are good, but do you have a favorit ? and why?

it seems norton makes my machine slow sometimes. mcafee doesn't.

I agree with Jamesh, but Norton Anitvirus and its integration with other Norton's products like SystemWorks is very tight.

What platform? I had a Macafee for Win2k and it was nothing but trouble. It was their Windows 2000 version.
Switched to Nortons, everything solved. This was about two years ago, so stuff has changed since. But sometimes one works better than the other for different platforms.

Personally, I use AVG. It also checks incoming and outgoing emails... and it's free

Norton here. Have done a lot of work as a PC tech and seen quite a share of problems with McAfee.
