At our studio we have a really fast connection which makes it hard to see streaming of flash movies, importing content. Is there an app for Mac (important) and PC (Less So) that will limit your net connection. Also is there an app that will also turn off flash player? Thanks for your time.

I believe Flash has that function built in -- when you test your movie, use the bandwidth profiler (apple key + B), and under the Debug menu you can choose the connection speed.
Hope this'll help you :)

The 'Custom Modem Settings' speeds only works for the file you're testing. If you have any external movie/jpeg/mov loading into the main movie, they'll be streamed almost imediately. It's a real downer when you're testing a multiple preloader...
I also would like to see the entire structure loaded at the same speed, for testing purposes. I think this was what Epictive is talking about.

Yes, unfitto is right, I flash wont show streaming of a flash movie loading a flash movie (tried to make that clear, sorry). Please there is got to be a app that caps your connections.

'For use in the Flash Player or for testing in test mode in the Flash authoring application, all SWF files must be stored in the same folder, and the filenames cannot include folder or disk drive specifications.'
