XML Socket Servers

  I've been looking around for a server that can do multiuser apps in flash. So far I have found the moock one(unity) and this fortress one. As well I have been hearing about macromedia comm server.

  Which is better. are they the same?

  You can use either I believe, but with the integration of server-side scripting languages with Flash and Communication Server MX along side with XML, there is a lot of stuff going on. Basically using all of those mentioned, whether PHP or CFML. ;)

  I think I want to get an opensource app though. Aswell, I looked at the flashcomm demo and it seemed to focus on video and streaming data.

  I dont care about streaming things. I want to do a multiuser app.
