I remember being interested in him after seeing a Kubrick documentry. I kind of forgot about checking the music out until i came across his name a few times in the Eno book i'm reading at the moment http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obi…
Any knowledge/recomendations? i think i'm more into the selections from 'eyes wide shut' than '2001'

Go for the keyboard works then. Not as minimal as Eyes normally, but probably more what you're looking for.
There are several great compilations on Sony.

Saw the Kubrick doc last night. Had me curious about Ligeti too. I always thought that music was superbly intense.
