It is shit now, but just wait a couple years and somebody may come up with something useful. Designers will never be made redundant though. There will always be a need for communications specialists. Something like this may just make it harder to justify existance of all these eye-candy sweatshops. I would predict that the shake-out is not going to affect the advertising bureaus or the bigger new media houses.
