Hello,
I am messing around with the publish settings in flash and was using the Windowless Transparency feature. It works fine for me (win2000, IE6) but my friend who is on OS9, IE5 says that it is showing a white background.
Am I not making the right selections to publish or is his browser not setup to view this correctly??
Here's the link...

yeah... there is NO working around that for mac IE... learned that the hard way....
... Windows has that nifty 'activex' thing (something like that) built in... :(

mozilla supports flash transparency as well.
give it like a year or two for mac IE to die down to the point where you can ignore it (much like NS4.x). it's already been discontinued by microsoft.

Macromedia claims it works on IE5.1 and 5.2 for Mac
http://www.macromedia.com/suppor…And the code they suggest differs from yours in that it has those "" around trasparent. Don't know if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it. Guess I'll do what Vena says and wait until they die down.
