i hear iframes don't work on some crappy browsers.
i'm doing an online boutique marketed at wealthy women around 20-30, and my design would benefit greatly from the use of an iframe.
are iframes something i should avoid?
uh....It's only really NN 4.7 you have to worry about - not ure about safari but I would imagine it supports them....only NN4.7 and non-standards compliant browsers that don't support iframes - they are bloody useful.
just do it
a new version of my site i'm working on uses them and so far no problems in all the major browsers and os's. we'll see how it goes.
iframes are the best thing since sliced bread.
works fine in safari.
i love me some iframes!!
iframes are the new black.
i thought black was the new black?
iframes are nice if you need to update. I've got a ton of them on my site, but I'll never try to incorporate them with images again (I am happy with my site, but I like flash and movie clips much better).
iframes can sometimes be a pain when the framed page is picked by search engines (outside the main site).
Replace [ by
[ script ]
if (self.name!='som' && self.name!='body') top.location.href = '../index.htm'
[/ script ]
Personally, I prefer include files.
