My advice:
If a pretty young girl crawls under your table when your having a meal, don't let her near your zipper. Chances are it's a man...Plus, your lady might have summin' to say about it.

It's paradise mate even when you're doing nothing in Thailand it's amazing. Doing nothing takes up all your time.

aye. Snorkel or scuba is amazing. Fishing is brilliant, the food is great, it's cheap too. Some of the more party islands do mushroom shakes.

agree with the scuba, had never been before, but did a PADI course over there a couple of months ago.
highly recommended, one of the highlights of an amazing month.

yeah my mate said to ask the beach massage birds for 'cookies, *wink wink*' and they sell you some trippy biscuits.
hope they are chocolate chip.

Bang Lasse is a weed shake.
Thai people are pretty laid back and fun loving so your forced to be mellow which is'nt a bad thing.

I was there last week.
Things I learnt....
- don't trust anyone if they say "thats closed or full or whatever they try to scam you into taking there taxi ,tuk tuk (three wheeler)
-don't buy any illegal substances from resturant/store owners. The police have a funny habit of knowing exactly who has drugs on them after buying from these people.-Everyone is out to make money off you so just be prepared and except it.
-just pick up a lonely planet they're all you need. I got one off a friend it's been past down three generations of travelers. and it's worth it's wait in gold.
The Thai people are some of the nicest people around, and in my opinion they have the best food.

1. Try Soi 4 or Soi Si in Thai. A down and dirty street of good pubs/clubs in Bangkok. A lot of back-door activities here. smell it.
2. Try Ministry of Sound. Just opened there in bangkok.
3. They have a great market there selling everything from monkey brains to worn levis. takes more than a day to see the whole place. (forgot the name)
4. IF you feel touristy, you can check out the Royal Palace. If the cabbie no speakie the english... then just do an arch with your hands.
5. Check out Narcicist -an Extravagant club for the local rich. And if you're a little dodge but rich, you can try Pegasus - extravagant hostess- karaoke joint. You gotta take a look at this place to believe it. (Note: Leave your chicks at home)
6. Tip on catching cabs in Bangkok... Agree on a price with the driver before boarding. Dont go with the meter. He'll take you for a spin. Fix the price and he'll take you straight there. And if he asks you if you want to go for a karaoke session, he doesn't mean singing and mics.
Bangkok is a great place. Reminds me of bladerunner especially the drive from airport to the city. Beautiful women (check first) Amazingly surreal nitelife. Every other male out at nite seems to be a gangstar type.
But... the traffic is deadly.
Unless you have a strong stomach, stay off the street food.
Or at least save it for the last day. that way you won't volcano your holiday away.Have fun.
