Has anybody heard of people that do websites or movies that use smell as a way of communicating emotions?
Or may be you've heard of some US army or whatever machine that recreates odors...

i know the mear thought of an orange or a flower bed can conjure up scents to a being, but fuck man... correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the whole premice of a movie and a website to convey feelings and emotions through visual representations?!? and further i don't think it's possible to make a scratch n sniff website.

I just wanna know if experiments have been made...

no. you can do one though.
throw a headless cod on your monitor while newstoday is loaded. wait 3 days then smell. if newstoday has indeed become a 'smelly website' then you have invented smelly websites.
for long term research i suggest you leave the cod there indefinetly.

haven't you guys ever scratched and sniffed the little pink QBN logo over there on the left - it smells like cinnamon
but you have to scratch it first

I heard there was some sort of technology like that, it's like a printer which can make 'all' colors with combinations of CMYK, there's some sort of smellCMYK.
That really scares me - think of popup ads!
Also what if your smellinator isn't calibrated, you're likely to puke alot.

Yes. There was a big spread about that in wired magazine a while back.
