less than 2 hours of sleep last night and my eyes are dry and burning and i feel like i'm hallucinating. i'm usually hurting after anything less than 8 hours, so this is really whipping me.
any good wake up remedies besides the obvious 10 cups of coffee? i've got a weeks worth of work and my deadline is 6pm today...

quick jog and a hot shower does the trick for me...
or skip the run and go for the cold shower, but the jog does a good job of getting the juices flowing...
i've had people tell me loud music does well, unfortunately it always puts me to sleep.
newports and coffee does the trick for me, but im not one to promote such vices to someone else

Coffee has absolutly zero effect on me... I used to drink 4 or 5 cups a day... yet if I drink coke... I will be up for hours... I swear it is a different KIND of caffine... weird

okay... I actually read this...
when it hits the 1pm - 4pm area of the day... take a 20 minute nap... it can rejuvinate you for 3 or 4 hours

that's very true, although the time of day doesn't matter much. what does make a difference is how well your body performs according to the time of day...
a 15 - 20 minute nap should hold you over for a good dea lof time.. the setback to that is that you can't fall int oa deep sleep or else it'll work against you
usually you won't fall into a very deep sleep in such a short time, but if you're dead tired, you'll be out and even worse off when you wake up...
at least that's my experience...

to avoid falling into a deep sleep try sleeping standing up with a cup of boiling water balanced on your head.

well, one thing i've DEFINITELY found is reading small black text on a dark grey background in a small iframe really works against you.
