Did you to summer camp?
I miss those days, running in the woods, swimming, riding in canoes, bow & arrows.
Went to a week summer camp for 7 summers from 7-14.

I went to the YMCA.
There I was introduced to wonderful things like Run DMC, Public Enemy, and very big, very athletic kids.

my first summer camp came when i was in fourth grade. there were a series of ropes hanging from a chain with car tires at the ends that we were to 'swing' across to get to the other side. it was a sort of team building exercise. i was standing on the second tire when a gir sitting on the first tire tried to grab the rope to get to my tire. she grabbed my jargon. aside from the obvious embarasment it was horrible. i crumbled to the ground in agony... yet... somehow as i laid there i found it strangely arousing.
i credit her and my first 'jargon touching' to me being suck a sex crazed lunatic.
years later in high school... ironically... she was my first lay.
weird.

we did something similiar kona, a challenge course. this was at a Lutheran camp I went all those summers.
There was one where we had to jump from a beam to a small wooden platform on top of a tire-real loose, wobbly, trying to jump about 8-12 people onto this and it's like 3'x3'.This one guy jumped and just anhiliated his right shin on the edge of the wood-didn't make the jump. Man I cringe thinking about it.

nothing wrong with that at all. Wish I could do that.
For the last three years I did this one camp they had called Outpost, where we would hike out into the woods pretty far, build our tents with logs, branches, etc. cooked over open fires, went repelling, so much cool stuff.
Played this capture the flag game, usually there were 12 or so people in these outpost camps. All day in camoflauge, face paint, creeping up on people trying to find their flag.Sometimes they'd give us these challenges at night to go find something, I remember one they had hidden some kind of desert for us behind a podium in an open air outdoor chapel. I remember being covered in branches and grass and stuff to stay hidden, creeping up on the podium with rows full of about 50 kids 10 feet away. It was like being a navy seal, seriously.

my family couldn't have afforded it when i was a kid, but for some odd reason, when i was at the library, i would be totally fascinated by the ads in the back of Sunset Magazine for youth weight-loss camps. I wasn't over-weight, but, well the reasons for my fascination are a different thread.

mg33, i did something like that once. there were two games we played actually.
the first was basically a big hid and seek at night in the woods with the objective being to get as many people on one team safely to a pre-determined destination w/out being caught/discovered. had the face paint and camo to heighten the thrill.
another game was capture the flag. the flags were glowsticks set at various locations on the playing field in the middle of the woods, with the objective of course being to capture your opponents flag and return it to your 'base' w/out being caught/captured.
fun times!

i read about this camp celebrities go to where you eat nothing but laxatives and water for like a month and just shit all day long.
they said that when you've finished shitting out all the food in your system you start crapping "little yellow rubber disks" that formed in your colon.

I'm gonna throw up.
