Found a really cool place to stay for a week in Berlin, and thought I'd show you all...
Architectural group "Deadline", designed and renovated this old building in former East Berlin. Project name is "Slender" and is now used as their home. Lookit: http://deadline.de/build/B_SLEND…

be sure to go to the tacheles!
there are a lot o open studios in there....and a little underground theatre.when i was there last - i stayed at a hostel called the odyssee.
i can track down the info if you like - it was a great place to stay...cheap...clean....friendly staff......served drinks all night...berlin is definitely one ov my fav cities on the planet.
