ok...after feedback from the client, they deceided on the following options (round 2)... now for the color schemes....
thoughts?
here is round 1:

i like number 7 green
i think having "nlmp" side by side reminds me of a down syndrome person trying to say limp.
but ya, i like the boxed ones at the bottom, would like nice on a sign

my bad. i liked 9 from the first set. as for the 2nd set, i like 2
its tight and would work well for the web in that it doesnt take up too much real estate. the browns and orange colors are nice too

the only reason i liked 9 from the 1st set is because the stacked type and offset lines suggest levels. thought it was clever.

yeah the client narrowed down the options from the first set to the 6 selected and colored in the second set.

my vote: 2 or 3 (LOWERCASE), red/black

i like number 7 from the first set in the red box. silly clients! that one had a concept. keep that one for your book.
from the second round i like number 2 in blue and green. it's simple and direct - no fluff.
